I liked this book, it was a fun read. However as a long time fan of her work, I just don't think it was up to her usual standards.
I would recommend reading her Mediator or 1-800 books instead...

About me
I like stuff! I work only to acquire more stuff.I have weird tastes. While I love anime and manga, I also love a good English cosy mystery! I dislike "chick flicks" and dramas but love a good action or martial arts film. I also spend way to much time on WOW!
I also want to try my hand at reviewing. I have a hard time expressing myself (intelligently) with the written word but I guess I can only improve with practice...

The Dark Hills Divide: The Land of Elyon
Posted : 16 years ago on 7 April 2008 09:07 (A review of The Dark Hills Divide: The Land of Elyon, Book 1)I think I'm going to like this series! Not the best children's book I've ever read, but I like the heroine. She's not your normally do good girl. Alexa is sneaky and wise beyond her years.
I'll get the next one from the library.

Portrait in Death
Posted : 16 years ago on 7 April 2008 08:57 (A review of Portrait in Death (In Death #16) )Portrait in Death is one of the best books of the series!
I love the In Death books. I,m about in the middle of the series now, and I have to admit they were becoming a little formulaic. (Not that there is anything wrong with this formula, but the last book Purity in Death was a little disappointing.)
However, this book was a wonderful change of pace. To be honest the mystery/case is not important to me in this book. There is some real character development in here and it's all about Roarke! He learns something new that changes his perception of his past and he doesn't handle it well. Like Eve says in the book - it was nice to see him "screw up now and again."

I know it sounds a little cheesy, but I find RURUTIA's music almost magical. Her vocals are beautiful almost haunting...
My favorite track on this album is Lost Butterfly.

Bleach Vol 1
Posted : 16 years ago on 2 April 2008 06:58 (A review of Bleach)Ichigo is a boy that sees ghost. One night he meets a girl that changes his world...
This is a great book and I highly recommend it! It has great action, humor and characters. Bleach is one of those series where a reader can find something to like every character. Ichigo is the hero, but he is supported by many people.
